1. Scope
These terms apply to all use of the DossifAI platform (dossifai.nl). DossifAI is a business-to-business service; by creating an account you confirm you act in the course of a business or profession and are authorised to bind your organisation.
2. The platform
DossifAI provides software for client due diligence: questionnaires, dossier building, risk scoring, workflows and optional AI assistance. The platform is a tool — it does not replace your own statutory investigation and assessment duties (such as under Dutch AML law, the Wwft) and does not constitute legal advice. AI output is a draft that must always be reviewed by a qualified person.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping credentials confidential. You may not use the platform for unlawful purposes, attempt to circumvent its security, or resell the service without our written consent. Your organisation’s administrators decide who on your team gets access.
4. Subscriptions, trial and payment
Subscriptions are paid monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically. Any free trial is granted once; cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance, effective from the next renewal. If a payment fails you will be notified and given a short remediation window, after which access may be paused until payment succeeds. No data is lost in the meantime.
5. Availability and maintenance
We aim for the highest possible availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance is planned outside office hours where possible. We may improve the service and change functionality, provided its core remains intact.
6. Your data
All dossier data you process in the platform remains yours. We process it solely on your instructions, as described in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement. After your subscription ends your data is retained so you can reactivate; on request we provide an export or permanently delete it, subject to statutory retention duties.
7. Intellectual property
All rights to the platform, its software and its design remain with DossifAI. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use for the duration of the subscription.
8. Liability
Our total liability per event (or series of related events) is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit or damage from decisions made (partly) on the basis of the platform or AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent or deliberate recklessness.
9. Termination
You can cancel at any time from the billing page in the platform; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may terminate or suspend access on material breach of these terms, with prior warning where reasonable.
10. Changes and governing law
We may amend these terms; material changes are announced by email at least 30 days in advance. These terms are governed by Dutch law; disputes are submitted to the competent Dutch court.
